Giving charity is better than being generous. Beware of soliciting or taking money from sadaqa funds or zakat funds frequently. This can result in withdrawing which will leave more for people who require it. However, if you don’t do this, Allah will provide your requirements in a manner that is acceptable to Allah.
Helping families in need
Giving an item to a needy or needy person is an act of kindness, but when you give your charity in order to show respect and appreciation for people who are close to you – like family members- then the reward becomes doubly. The Prophet said, “One can have more joy when they give than if they keep a budget throughout the every year.” This is because it shows how much love one still has within their hearts.
Charity that Never Stops Giving
People who do acts of kindness that help others in the long-term will continue to be recognized for their actions. This type of charitable giving (sadaqa jariyah) is known under a variety of names, including “perpetual,” because unlike the majority of other forms of charity where you give one time and forget about your donation or recipient, with perpetual giving, there can be no or more power than when you first started.
